While we forego any desire to say that “you can’t hinder Jinder”, we can tell you that we didn’t think that the former glorified jobber known as Jinder Mahal would one day beat Randy Orton to capture the WWE Championship. Well at last Sunday’s Backlash event, he did just that and now WWE Shop has finally gotten around to making some merch to celebrate the WWE’s new king.
Known as the “Modern Day Maharaja”, this authentic WWE shirt features his new moniker in a design straight out of Jinder’s native India (he’s actually Canadian but we’re in full kayfabe here) and in the colors of the flag. On the back, Jinder’s name sits under a design of the Taj Mahal, which is a fitting tribute for the new WWE champ.
