This Sunday, the stars of SmackDown make history when Money in the Bank goes down from St. Louis, Missouri. It’s a huge event for WWE‘s blue brand as the winner of the Money in the Bank ladder match, either Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, Baron Corbin or Sami Zayn, gets a contract for a title shot anytime and anywhere they choose. And for the first time in the company’s history, the women have a shot to get a briefcase of their own, as five of SmackDown’s best female performers, including Becky Lynch, have the first ever Money in the Bank women’s ladder match.
Also on the card are The Usos as they defend their Tag Team titles against The New Day and it’s a big night for Randy Orton, as he gets his rematch with WWE Champion Jinder Mahal in his hometown of St. Louis which, if you keep up with trends in the WWE, doesn’t bode well as the hometown jinx has been a real thing as of late.
